When people imagine a Tuscany wedding, they often picture rolling hills, beautiful countryside views, incredible food, and long evenings spent celebrating under the Italian sky. Jenna and Frank’s wedding at Borgo Corsignano was all of that and more!
Instead of squeezing everything into a single day, they turned their celebration into a three-day experience, giving their family and friends the chance to slow down, settle in, and enjoy every moment together. From a relaxed pizza party welcome dinner to an elegant wedding day and a poolside farewell gathering, this was the kind of wedding weekend guests will be talking about for years.

Why a Tuscany Wedding Works So Well as a Weekend Celebration
One of the things couples love most about a Tuscany wedding is that it naturally encourages everyone to slow down. The countryside setting, the food, the wine, and the pace of life all invite you to spend more time together rather than rushing from one event to the next. Instead of feeling like the wedding day is over in a flash, a wedding weekend creates space for conversations, shared meals, and all those little moments that become some of your favourite memories with your favourite people! That’s exactly what Jenna and Frank created for their guests and for themselves.
If you’re considering extending your celebrations beyond a single day, you might also enjoy this three-day wedding celebration in Ravello, which embraced the same idea of slowing down and creating more time with family and friends!

Day One: Pizza, Wine, and a Beautiful Tuscan Sunset
he celebrations began long before anyone walked down the aisle. As guests arrived at Borgo Corsignano, they were welcomed by live Italian musicians, long tables dressed in classic red-and-white linens, and the smell of fresh pizza baking in a wood-fired oven. The entire evening felt like stepping into a little slice of Italy.
Guests spent the evening catching up with old friends, meeting family members for the first time, and settling into the excitement of the weekend ahead. One of the highlights was watching Jenna and Frank make their own pizzas alongside the chefs, a fun moment that immediately got everyone laughing and involved.

Fresh pizzas came straight from the wood-fired oven throughout the evening, filling the air with the smell of melting mozzarella and basil. One of my favorite moments was watching Jenna and Frank jump behind the pizza station and make pizzas themselves. It was fun, relaxed, and instantly got everyone involved.

And because no Italian celebration is complete without dessert, guests finished the evening with freshly filled cannoli prepared on the spot. By the end of the night, everyone felt less like wedding guests and more like they were part of one big family gathering.
An Outdoor Ceremony in the Heart of Tuscany
The following day brought the wedding everyone had been waiting for. Set amongst the rolling hills of Tuscany, Jenna and Frank exchanged vows during a beautiful outdoor garden ceremony surrounded by elegant white florals and breathtaking countryside views. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect.

Guests looked out across the Tuscan landscape while music drifted through the ceremony space, creating one of those moments that feels impossible to recreate anywhere else. There was something timeless about the entire scene. The views, the flowers, the late afternoon light, and the emotion of seeing two people surrounded by everyone they love.

A Reception Guests Will Never Forget
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with cocktails before guests made their way to the reception. And what a reception it was. Designed by Love Story Events Italy, the space felt both elegant and inviting, with long tables stretching across the lawn beneath sparkling crystal chandeliers and beautiful floral arrangements by Mainardi Fiori. As the sun disappeared behind the Tuscan hills, candlelight flickered across the tables while guests settled in for an evening of incredible food, heartfelt speeches, and plenty of celebration.

The reception design blended perfectly with the natural surroundings, creating a setting that felt luxurious while still embracing the relaxed atmosphere that makes Tuscany so special. As dinner gave way to dancing, the celebrations continued late into the evening before ending with a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the night sky above Borgo Corsignano.

What Makes Borgo Corsignano So Special
For couples considering a Tuscany wedding, Borgo Corsignano offers something that can be difficult to find elsewhere. Because guests can stay on the property, the venue allows the wedding to unfold over several days rather than a few short hours. Friends gather for breakfast the morning after arriving, spend afternoons exploring the grounds, and enjoy every event together without needing to leave the estate.
The venue itself captures everything people dream about when they picture Tuscany. Rolling countryside views, beautiful stone buildings, peaceful gardens, and enough space to create multiple events that all feel completely different. It’s easy to see why so many couples fall in love with it.

Ending the Weekend by the Pool
The final day brought a completely different atmosphere! Wedding attire was swapped for swimsuits, the grill was fired up, fresh beers were flowing, and guests gathered by the pool for one last afternoon together before heading home.
A saxophonist played throughout the day while people relaxed in the sunshine, shared stories from the wedding day, and enjoyed a slower pace after the excitement of the celebrations. It was the perfect ending to a weekend that never felt rushed.

Planning Your Own Tuscany Wedding
Somewhere between the welcome dinner, the garden ceremony, and the final afternoon by the pool, Jenna and Frank created the kind of wedding weekend guests will be talking about long after their flight home.
